New Yorkers may always be in a rush, but they sure don’t mind waiting in line for good food. They can be seen lining up at Crêpes Canaveral anxiously waiting for Jean-Christophe Henry’s crêpes. Ligaya Mishan for the Times visited the tiny carnival ticket-sized booth where Henry makes all of his crêpes by hand, one at a time. He has Nutella, but you’re much better off ordering a sweet crêpe with his house-made salted caramel. There are also savory crêpes in which an yolk is framed in the center of the crepe along with shaved asparagus, butter and cheese.
